Didn't see this commented, but the Marriott @ 1 Blue Jay Way (address) is the most incredible hotel because half the rooms are inside the stadium. My wife and I stayed there years back and got cheap seats off stubhub to walk the park and get food. We left before the 3rd inning to watch the game from our open window at the warning track. That hotel is unlike anything you'll experience in baseball, I'd make it a priority (only if you are willing to pay the upgrade to a "field facing room"). It really is magical, and I couldn't stop smiling the whole game.

I feel like your question wasn't answered really well. The buffer tube holds a spring that is used to absorb the shot and rechamber a new round. Even if you take the stock off like this idiot did, you need to have to have the tube and spring inside to keep the rifle functioning. Here's an animation.
You're too smart for this sub. You best keep moving along, bub.

I was going to say that exactly, but assumed I would get blown up. He'll find his true sound, this one just feels way too close. It sounds top 40 because, well, it already was top 40.
Spot on haha
Sounds a lot like Circles by Post Malone
Calm seas never make great captains. Although I hate the valleys, I know they're far more important than the mountain tops. Keep pushing!

It's leviticus... It's old Jewish law that isn't in the mix anymore since Christ rolled onto the scene. The whole book of leviticus belongs in r/agedlikemilk
Ahh, right. My mistake to assume there was only one of these.
Please tell me this is in Los Angeles. 95% sure I saw this guy parked up in Crestline highway in Angeles National Forest a few weeks back doing a photoshoot with his car and a girl sitting on it.

We will definitely be leaving them yelp and Google reviews. Peter told us Baby Lock gave the retailers a credit per machine so they could lower the price when sales were low. While most retailers (all the ones you and we both encountered) keep that credit, Peter passes the reduced price to the customer. Which is you and us. Super cool. He said this was the last machine he had a credit on, so who knows if the prices will always be this low. Sounds like it may not be something he controls. Either way, grateful folks like Peter were willing to pass the reduced price along to the buyer instead of pocket the extra 25% and increase his personal margin.
We really were blown away a couple days back when we saw the Baby Locks in person before the Paradise day. They truly seem like they are in a league of their own.
Thanks again and happy sewing!
Thank you for this!
I honestly can't thank you enough. My wife and I drove down to south LA County yesterday morning to Moore's Sewing who is one of the top Baby Lock dealers to see what their prices were (they never advertise and I wanted to get there at opening and back to work). They opened at 9am (so does Paradise in SD) and we rolled into the parking lot at 9:07. On the drive down I mentioned there was a super nice tip we got on reddit and should give Paradise a call before we walk in. So, before walking in, we called Paradise for a quote on the Baby Lock Victory. Peter told us they had one left in the box and gave us a price. We had called around the day before (when I initially posted this question) and his price was indeed SUBSTATIALLY lower, almost too good to be true. We walked into Moore's armed with Paradise's price and the nice folks there walked us through the machines. We asked if they price match, he said yes, and we gave them Paradise's price. He looked kind of shocked and said "are you SURE that's the price on this specific machine? We are the largest Baby Lock dealer in CA and know where almost every machine is in the state." We said yes we are sure, and he said ok, let me call my boss and ask. He came back after 5 minutes and said "unfortunately that price is too low for us to match. We just can't do that unfortunately. But I really would make absolute certain that the machine you were quoted for was this machine." So, yesterday morning at 9:15a I quickly realized it would be a road trip day and I would be working from my cell phone. Blasted down there, and 2 hours later, sure enough Peter was waiting for us smiling holding his last Victory Baby Lock for us at 25%+ CHEAPER than any place we called around for. We were absolutely blown away. I was almost waiting for the catch. I opened the box to make sure there wasn't a swapped machine, or it was used, or a floor model. Still in the plastic, still with the brand new smell, everything. Peter asked "do you mind telling me the other prices you got that made you drive down to us?" We told him the price and he said "wow, that is a really good price. But obviously this price is better, so I understand you taking the day to come get it from me." Peter was super nice, and he had Susan walk us through the floor model and teach my wife all the threading, tips, etc for 20+ minutes while customers waited. So, we came home with a machine 2.5x our budget, but the price was too good to pass up. AND IT WAS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU! So, that said, thank you so much. We will be going to your local shop from here on out for any big purchases. Peter and the team at Paradise were everything you said they would be and more! Thank you again! Wife can't stop smiling and dreamed about the new machine all night.
Thank you! She's excited!
This is great to know. Thank you again so much! Excited to show her all this
We're in Los Angeles! Could be worth the trip! Thank you for the advice!
Yes after seeing some in person we will definitely be increasing our budget. She loves the air threading, and the higher end ones with no tension dials for the thread seem like a breeze. We will probably end up with a juki or baby lock. Really amazing products. Thank you for your input!
